Kaharva pishti 


Kaharva pishti may be a

PREPARATION OF KAHARVA PISHTI


Kaharva is ground well with gulab arka (rose water) for two 
to three days. This is often dried well and powdered finely to make Kaharva pishti.



MEDICINAL PROPERTIES OF KAHARVA PISHTI


KAHARVA PISHTI HAS FOLLOWING HEALING PROPERTIES:-

 

Ø   Haemostatic (Anti hemorrhagic) agents

Ø   Anti helmintic or anti-parasitic

Ø   Astringent

Ø   Antacid

Ø   Anti-arrhythmic

Ø   Cardiac tonic

Ø    Provide nourishment to female reproductive organs and help in their normal functioning.

Ø   It is employed for symptoms associated with menopause like hot flashes and irritability

Ø  Applied to the skin for arthritis and joint pain.

DOSAGE OF KAHARVA PISHTI


The dosage of Kaharva Pishti is 125 mg to 500 mg twice or thrice each day 
or as recommended by the physician.


It is traditionally administered along side 
cold water, honey etc.
Kaharva Pishti is Possibly Safe for many people. There are not any side effects observed with it. The heavy dosage of Kaharva (amber) may end in headache. Therefore, the dosage shouldn't exceed from 1500 mg per day. If any patient has headache after taking it, the doctors can use sweet violet (neelapushpa) as antidote and for treating the headache thanks to it. Please remember, Kaharva pishti only works in headache that happens thanks to worm infestation within the brain. It’ll not help in headache with the other underlying pathology.



CAUTIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS OF KAHARVA PISHTI

 

Ø    This medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision.

Ø    Self-medication with this medicine may convince be dangerous.

Ø    It is to be avoided in children and pregnant and lactating mothers.

Ø    Over-dosage may cause many severe headaches.

Ø   Take this medicine in precise dose and for limited period of your time , as advised by doctor.
