Kutajghan Vati

 

Kutajghan Vati has antidysenteric, antidiarrheal, haemostatic and anti-amoebic action. It is beneficial in diarrhoea, intestinal infections, dysentery and bleeding disorders. It provides good relief even in chronic diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).


Ingredients (Composition)


Kutajghan Vati is formed 
from ivory tree (also called Kurchi and Kutaj) and Ativisha (Atish) (Botanically Aconitum Heterophyllum). Kutajghan Vati contains aqueous extract of ivory tree bark and powder of Ativisha.


Medicinal Properties


Kutajghan Vati has following medicinal properties.

 

Ø  Antidiarrheal

Ø  Antidysenteric

Ø  Antimicrobial

Ø  Anthelmintic

Ø  Astringent

Ø  Aam Pachak (Detoxifier)

Ø  Antiamoebic

Ø  Haemostatic



Benefits & Medicinal Uses


Kutajghan Vati is vital 
ayurvedic medicines, which is usually used for management of intestinal infections and diarrhea. It reduces AMA (toxins as per ayurveda), mucus content in stool, and check bleeding.


Dosage & Administration


The general dosage of Kutajghan Vati is as follows.

 

Ø  Infants :  1 Tablet (375 mg)

Ø  Children :  2 Tablets (750 mg)

Ø  Adults :  4 Tablets (1.5 grams)

Ø  Pregnancy :  2 Tablets (750 mg)

Ø  Geriatric (Old age) :  2 Tablets (750 mg)

Ø  Maximum Possible Dosage :  6 grams (16 Tablets) per day (in divided doses)

Ø  Two to four times a day with Warm Water

Ø  When to Take: Anytime as per requirement to manage diarrhea or other diseases
